Technical Content: Metalaxyl 8 % + Mancozeb 64 % WP

Katyayani Meta-Manco is a chemical fungicide containing 8% metalaxyl and 64% mancozeb in a wettable powder formulation. It effectively controls various fungal diseases through Systemic and Contact Action by disrupting RNA and Nervous systems. This fungicide is suitable for agricultural use against fungal diseases such as Downy mildew, Early & Late blight, Rot, Rust and many fungal diseases in crops like Grapes, potatoes, chiliand many other crops.

Target diseases: Downy mildew, early blight, foot rot, white rust, damping off, leaf spot, foot spot and many other fungal diseases.

Target Crops: Grapes, potatoes, black pepper, mustard, chili, pomegranate and many other fruit and vegetable crops.

Mode of Action:

  • Metalaxyl: It has a systemic mode of action. It interferes with RNA synthesis within the fungus, ultimately stopping its growth and reproduction. Since it gets absorbed by the plant, it can control fungal diseases even within plant tissues.
  • Mancozeb: It is a contact fungicide. It disrupts multiple processes. Mancozeb works by inhibiting spore germination and interfering with various biochemical processes within the fungal cells on the plant surface. It disrupts the fungus's nervous system.

Dosage: 1.5 to 2 kg per ha (500 gm/200 litres of water).

Method of Application:

  • First Spray: Plants meet across the rows (favorable conditions for late blight incidence).
  • Second Spray: 10 to 14 days after the first spray.
  • Third Spray:  10 to 14 days after the second spray.
